Stephanie Kemler is the author of The Mina Coffin Duet and The Year of Sin and Smoke. She writes gothic romance, dark academia, and speculative fiction exploring obsession, desire, suffering, and the secrets that reveal who we are. She studied history and creative writing at Case Western Reserve University and spent most of her career teaching language, theology, and history. When she’s not exploring graveyards and reading in fairytale forests, she lives with her family near a haunted Gilded Age mansion in Philadelphia.
